I’m a recent convert to Microsoft OneNote. It’s fantastic. I love the ability to quickly store bits of information I might need at some point, and quickly search through them all. As I’m also a big fan of all Google products I recently looked into whether Google had an equivalent product. Turns out they did, Google Notebook, but that they stopped all development/new access to it in January of this year, focusing efforts instead on Google Docs.
However, I was on iGoogle this morning and the Google tip of the day was Google Notebook. I clicked on it and lo and behold, Google Notebook was open again!
So what does this mean? Is Google reactivating Notebook? Will there development on it again? Will it be added to Google Apps? As I can see find no explanation as to why Google have reopened it, I guess we’ll have to wait and find out.
